We hired the Royz Band for our wedding last summer and they were amazing! Not only in their performance on the day of, which our guests raved about, but for months leading up to the wedding as well. Heather was our unofficial wedding planner. She helped me schedule the whole day, thoughtfully considering the music to accompany each part. When we had a last minute venue change and torrential downpour, Heather was accommodating and extremely helpful.

Ambiance Flute and Guitar Duo has been entertaining audiences since 1985. Their experience and vast, eclectic repertoire allows them to be flexible, making the ambiance of every event perfect. Their CD, A Little Night Music, is a collection of their most requested original classical interpretations, including the music of Mozart, Pachelbel, Faure, Bach and Handel. Doriann Forrester is one of the most versatile flutists in Canada. She is renowned for her distinctive flute sound and musical interpretation. Her personable style, in-depth musical training and vast experience adds greatly to the appeal of Ambiance. Doriann has performed in musicals, television commercials, and with various orchestras, chamber, wind and jazz ensembles in Toronto. Wind ensemble conducting, recording with other artists and music festival adjudications complement her musical experience. An honours music graduate, Doriann studied music at Humber College, Sir Wilfrid Laurier University and the Royal Conservatory of Music. Her teachers included Geoffrey Gilbert (teacher of James Galway), Jean-Pierre Rampal and Toronto jazz musician Pat Labarbera. Guitarist/composer Philip Disera lends both depth and variety to this duo. In addition to his work with Ambiance, Philip's dynamic guitar styles have been heard in many of Toronto's major clubs, Roy Thomson Hall, the duMaurier Jazz Festival and the Beaches Jazz Festival. He has recorded two compact discs: Inside Outside with full band and Philip Disera, a collection of original guitar compositions. Philip is an accomplished composer and arranger, creating much of the music played by Ambiance. Two of his compositions are in the Royal Conservatory of Music Guitar Repertoire books. Philip received his jazz training at Humber College, studied latin guitar with Brazilian master Tiberio Nascimento and classical guitar with acclaimed Canadian guitarist Norbert Kraft.
Graham moved to Sofia, Bulgaria from Toronto, Canada in November 2011 and is assessing the areas serviced at this point. There are trips to the Toronto-area planned so please contact Graham to determine availability.

The entity known as Heart & Stone was originally formed by singer, songwriter and driving force, Tony Anton in the fall of 1989. The Avondale Ensemble, under the direction of Robert Hamilton, is comprised of a number of highly skilled musicians offering the best in live music performances. Through his position as a faculty member of the renowned Royal Conservatory of Music, Robert Hamilton has been able to assemble for the Avondale Ensemble some of the finest musicians in the country. Our group has been performing for political, corporate and private functions since 1980 and our list of repeat clients is substantial and growing. We have a large repertoire spanning four centuries featuring music from the Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, Romantic and Modern Eras. All classical instruments are available in any desired combination. Our extensive list of compositions with their many varied styles allows us to create the perfect musical environment for any occasion. If you are interested in jazz music we have groups specializing in big band, swing, and latin stylings. All our musicians have impeccable credentials.
