The method of combining acupuncture and massage therapy allows her to achieve changes in muscles and fascia that might otherwise take numerous sessions when using each technique alone. For instance, massage therapy is effective at increasing blood circulation, aligning muscle fibres and breaking up fascial restrictions; and a manual stretch can return a shortened muscle to its healthy length.
