HomeFront's success is attributed to ongoing collaboration and partnerships across law enforcement, the criminal justice system and community social service agencies. With the implementation of HomeFront a specialized domestic violence docket (first appearance) court was established in Calgary in May 2000. A trial court was later opened in March of 2005.
