The Representative for Children and Youth supports and promotes the rights of children and youth in Nunavut.
The Representative’s office reviews and advises government and designated authorities (those other organizations under the law) on how their legislation, policies, programs and services affect children. Advocacy staff also work directly with individual children and youth. Staff can provide young people information on their rights; coach them in advocating for themselves; and support them in ensuring government departments and designated authorities consider their rights and interests. We welcome all inquiries. Please contact us if you have any questions!
