The Learning Disabilities Association of Newfoundland and Labrador incorporated as a not for profit in 2001 and acts as the provincial voice for individuals with learning disabilities and those who support them.LDANL offers programs to build social competence and independence skills. Through awareness raising activities, workshops and social programs.
The Newfoundland and Labrador Council of Health Professionals (NLCHP) an independent body established by legislation under the Health Professions Act (2010) is responsible for governing the regulation of seven health groups designated under the Act .
The Fish, Food and Allied Workers Union (FFAW-Unifor) represents approximately 15,000 working women and men throughout Newfoundland and Labrador, most of whom are employed in the fishing industry. We also have members working in the hotel, hospitality, brewing, metal fabrication and oil industries.
FFAW-Unifor is proud to be affiliated with Unifor, the largest industrial union in the history of the Canadian labour movement with over 300,000 members across the country.
