The Porcupine Health Unit has been helping people from Timmins to Moosonee and from Hearst to Matheson do that for over 70 years. We help through a variety of relevant and accessible programs and services. Over 120 staff in nine different offices deliver these programs and services. They include dental hygienists, speech-language pathologists, geneticists, nurse practitioners, public health nutritionists, dietitians, inspectors, public health nurses and health promoters. We also offer playroom rentals for birthday parties and more!The Centre is a place where families and caregivers with children can find answers to questions they may have their children- as well as information on available programs and services within the district.Our main sites are located in Haileybury, Englehart and Kirkland Lake.
