It is not uncommon for customers to ask us the age of the oldest clock in the shop or for John Bouwman to work on a clock that is 300 years old. This shop was established in 1972 and the owner, John Bouwman, has just as many years of experience in the clock and watch industry. Continually seeking to upgrade his skills, John recently attended training seminars in Switzerland. John Bouwman is certified by the provincial government as a watchmaker.

Westdale Jewellers is, and always has been, a small 'old world' manufacturing shop and retail store. Decades ago, we were a custom design and repair facility where only regular retail stores could bring their challenges. We regularly work with fine and sterling silver, gold in all of its colours and purities, and in specialty metals like palladium and platinum. We not only work with new metals, we regularly recycle our clients' own materials into whatever they desire.
