We arrived a little late for without reservations, but the restaurant had a table and seated us immediately (was a full house).
My dinner companion ordered a glass of wine (sauvignon blanc) which was delivered promptly. I had Shiraz.
We ordered the salade. The salad was crisp, fresh with crunch toasted walnuts, sweet roasted beets, and tangy raspberry viniagrette. The prawns were fabulous, seared tender and sweet, prepared with lemon butter, tomatoes and capers.
Our entrees were the New York steak and she ahd salmon. Both were very good, prepared just right with a light charred crust.
Did not stay for dessert, as we were out of time and had other commitments (hotel reservation) and a curfew.
Our server was attentive, without being intrusive, and very helpful with explaining the menu choices. Unfortunately, he was a he.
Room was dark, clean, lots of wood tones... room is a little packed, but acceptable because the darkness assured privacy.

The Keg does not have a lot of meatless options, but I found myself with a $50.00 gift card there with friends so I thought why not. My review today is really based on the drink selection and the lounge food at the Keg. I ordered nachos for the group and they tasted fantastic. The drinks at the Keg are very initiative and refreshing. I think this Keg location truly rivals the other Keg locations as it is so glamorous and plush. I recommend anyone to go to the Keg try their feature drink.

The Keg has always had a special place in my heart. The atmosphere and service is spectacular and the food is to die for. From the soft, warm buttered bread they give you before ordering, to the steaks and the decadent desserts, be prepared and come with an empty stomach. The pricing might be above average, but once in a while never hurts and it's completely worth your money. I go every year for my birthday and then some!
