The Marine Pub now almost 2 decades old is a 4700 sq. ft. pub which includes a full-service restaurant. The restaurant and pub features magnificent stone fireplace and a high ceiling with open trusses and spectacular skylights. Our dining facility is large, bright and airy unlike usual pub atmosphere yet customers find it cozy.
Come taste a savory dish at Alibi Room. Their bar is the ideal scene for after dinner drinks. They are open after-hours all week. You can get there by public transit.
The pub is also walking distance to Chinatown - the third largest and oldest Chinatown in North America. You can enjoy a variety of Chinese food and snacks or buy fresh meat and vegetable and cook your own. Come visit the pub, right in the midst of all the cultural, sporting events, fun and excitement.
Located in the heart of historic Gastown, this GastroPub has garnered many accolades for its service, food, alcohol and ambiance. The Irish Heather is also home to the Shebeen Whisk(e)y house and the Salty Tongue Cafe, which serves as the dining room for the Irish Heather in the evening and home to the famous Long Table Series. In a world filled with "Plastic Paddy" establishments, the Heather stands out as a beacon of authenticity. An Irish House that is owned by Irish people who actually work there.

While it was a great experience overall we still miss the original.Read more
What a fantastic little eatery for a casual bite. Fantastic selection of nibblies and an even better selection of beers from around the world. A definite must for anyone looking to chill out in a funky downtown spot. Expect to wait on busy nights, I've been there twice now and each time had to wait 10 minutes for a table but the wait is worth every second...not to mention that they will bring you your first drink order to sip while you wait for a table to come free.Read more
