What I do is unique to the area as I petsit; not kennel, crate or cage. We are situated on one acre of a beautiful park-like setting with over three hundred trees and shrubs. No matter winter, spring, summer or fall, the dogs love to explore and play on this amazing piece of wonderland. The dogs get free-range monitored play and fun through out the day on this fully fenced and private property. My hours of business are 8am to 5pm with drop offs and pickups at pre-approved times only. Pet care is 24 hours a day with all dogs safely inside during the night. I provide petsitting for those who work on a daily basis, overnight stays, weekends, weeks, etc. The dogs are in and out all day with their bedtime coinciding with mine. When it is too hot or cold outside, they are inside my home, out of the dangerous elements.

Originally from Saskatchewan he graduated university in 1994 with a degree in physical therapy and moved to the West Kootenays in 2003 where he bought Valhalla. First and foremost Kirby considers himself a sport therapist and has a special interest in the assessment and treatment of the injured athlete. He has worked with athletes in a variety of sports but has a special passion for hockey. He has worked with hockey players from novice to professional, including members of Canada's Olympic Teams and several NHL players. Kirby is also certified by the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute and uses a variety of needle techniques to complement his Physiotherapy practice.
