I work and travel all over norther Ontario and I stay in way too many hotels/motels. I have to say that Patsy and Rick are without a doubt the best motel owners I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying with. I was staying there for almost a month, they made sure I always had a BBQ outside my door, ice after work, even made stew and shared it with me so I’d have a home cooked meal! Their house keeper even washed my dishes if I left any in the sink!

We recently stayed at the trading post Motel in Ignace Ontario presentation, spotlessly clean and excellent service. We have no hesitation in recommending this property to other people. This is definately the best and biggest breakfast in town. Lots of food and tasty. Omlettes are way to large. Can't eat it all. There is a big breakfast that gets three eggs, and 6 sausage or 6 bacon or 3 big ham slices, home fries, 3 toast and coffee for about 9 bucks. Was good
