The 185-mile-long Cabot Trail traces the northern perimeter of Cape Breton Island, hugging the shore along headlands, beaches, coves and picturesque fishing villages. Watch for whales from one of many dramatic vista points. Enjoy local seafood and other fare along the way, including indigenous cuisine at the Acadian Museum in Cheticamp. Circle back to this campground in a prime location, with terraced campsites overlooking the Bras d'Or inland sea. Diversions include a swimming beach, Wi-Fi, K9 park, mini golf, rec hall, playground and a boat launch. Canoe rentals available at the campground. This beach is ideal for swimming and perfect for younger children.Our Music Hall is up and running again. Depending on COVID restrictions, we will have local entertainment performing on Friday nights. Bring your own instruments and voices if you want to take part in open mic sessions or jam with fellow campers any day of the week. We have many who want to try their talents and for those who don't, it is fun and relaxing to watch and listen.
