Swedish massage is designed to energize the body by stimulating circulation and manipulating soft tissue. The massage therapist works directly on the skin using a combination of techniques with the application of oil. Some benefits of Swedish massage include relaxation, dissolution of scar tissue adhesions, and improved circulation, which may speed healing and reduce swelling from injury.
