The team at Cheam Source for Sports is proud to continue a family-owned and operated tradition that has spanned over 40 years in Chilliwack. When Bob Aimes and his partner opened their first store in downtown Chilliwack in 1973, he was driven by a passion for sports and for his community. Though much has changed since then -- including the size and location of the store -- Bob’s passion has carried on through his son Geoff and business partner Brian Gillespie. For an impressive selection of sporting goods, come by our store!

In 1941, a young Toronto osteopath named Dr. Douglas Firth was asked by the Canadian Amateur Ski Association to organize and train a first aid and rescue group to patrol the ski hills. He had already spent a few seasons in the 1930s hauling injured skiers from the trails of the Toronto Ski Club, so, wherever there was skiing, he mobilized people to provide rescue service to injured skiers - thus forming the Canadian Ski Patrol (CSP).
