Emke Schaab has been a part of Walkerton and Hanover since the 1940s through Emke Plumbing and Heating in Hanover, Jagelewski Plumbing and Heating and Reed & Schaab in Walkerton. Current owner, Doug Schaab originally purchased Jagelewski Plumbing and Heating with then partner Bernie Reed in 1990.
