Welcome to Addiction Services for York Region (ASYR). Since 1983, we have been providing community treatment services, support and assistance to those struggling with substance use and problem gambling. Our main office is located in Aurora, Ontario. Barbara Paull is a British trained physiotherapist and a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, UK. She immigrated to Canada in 1967 and has concentrated upon orthopaedic physiotherapy practice and post-graduate education for over forty years. She is an active member of the Ontario Physiotherapy Association. In 1985 Barbara left her position as Director of Physiotherapy at York County Hospital (now Southlake Regional Hospital) in Newmarket, to open this private clinic. Barbara has designed and established on-site clinics in local industries, where physiotherapists provide ergonomic consultations and care for injured workers. In 2000 Barbara received the OPA’s Recognition Award for outstanding achievements in Professional Contribution and, in 2005 the Award of Distinction from the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
