Our MCC Thrift Shop has been in south Vancouver for nearly 35 years. We are currently at our fourth location in the area at the corner of Fraser and 43rd Avenue. We've enjoyed being here since 1991. Our store is governed by a committee of 8 members who are also committed volunteers. As part of the British Columbia branch of MCC, this committee is also accountable to our thrift shop coordinator who is based at the MCC BC head office in Abbotsford, BC. We usually have three or four full time or part-time paid staff at our store to manage the day to day operations and help pick up and deliver furniture with our small cube van. Other than these few paid employees, the store is entirely staffed by a diverse body of volunteers which represents many different ages, races and religions. In addition, boxes are provided with handles, bolted lids and skids for forklift handling. Multiple loading variations are available as well as the boxes being sealed and protected with a satin outdoor wood finish. 2. Professional Intermediate Line The Professional Line is the most versatile in its use as it caters to a wide range of shipping requirements and can be engineered for either weight or robustness. This line is less costly than the Institutional Line. 3. Economy Basic Line.
