The sports centre was built in 1993 and ever since has been a popular attraction for locals and visitors alike. The centre includes an NHL-sized ice arena, a 4,500-square-foot fitness centre, fitness studio, 2 squash courts, a 25-metre swimming pool, leisure pool, hot tub, steam room and sauna. The swimming pool and fitness area are open daily from 6 a.m. until 10 p.m. and drop-in rates are reasonable. The fitness area includes a full selection of free-weights, plate-loaded machines and Cybex machines. The cardio room is home to treadmills, stair climbers, eliptical trainers and stationary bikes. Aerobics and boxing classes are also available.

Cabin Fever Interiors was established by Lynn Gentile a graduate of Ryerson Polytechnical University in Toronto. Lynn received a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Interior Design in 1988. Professionally, she has practiced Interior Design in Canada and abroad.The appeal of the west coast and healthy mountain lifestyle of British Columbia drew Lynn away from the busy city life of Toronto and her position as Senior Project Designer with Canada's premier design firm, Yabu Pushelberg. Lynn has been involved in design since her arrival in Whistler in 1996, working on interiors, as well as a line of home accessories marketed throughout Canada and the United States.The inspiration for the design of our interiors is often derived from nature. Nature provides the basic foundation for all design and is reflected in the palettes, patterns and textures seen in our modern world. Fresh farm grown botanicals handharvested at the peak of freshness, taste and potency is our secret to avoid TeaCrafting any Teas with natural flavorings. The herbals we grow and craft still contain their own true, precious aromatics preserved through our special Whole storage method. Fresh milling each blend to order, delivered fresh each week and served fresh to Tea Lovers is our Craft.We grow new varietals, push their hardiness and develop them in the Squamsih zone as possible new additions to our organic Thérroir Tisanes selection. Some like our Tea plants of Camellia sinensis and Lemon Verbena overwinter indoors while other native pioneer plants are slowly progressing into future options for limited edition Tisanes for the farm.Off the beaten Path growing also involves weeding the farm for the wonderful nourishing weeds that love the spead all around us like Yellow Dock, Marshmallow, Sorrel, Dandelion, Burdock, Nettles and so many nourishing allies that can be persistent in wanting to be added to our cups.
