Falardeau Zoo: being a refuge is in our nature. May 1, 2009 marks the opening of a wildlife observation and agricultural interpretation center in St-David-de-Falardeau, Saguenay. This center was born thanks to two enthusiasts, Daniel Gagnon and Suzie Girard. For more than 45 years, they have invested, with the help of their children, all their energies and efforts in a leading beef farm. This center helps animals in distress. When these can be safely released, they are released into the wild. Since 2012 The owners have also acquired various species that people can observe in their natural habitat. It is therefore with great pride that we invite you to come and visit us.

As one of Edmonton's oldest licensed petting zoos, Thistle Hill Farm Petting Zoo & Pony Rides is dedicated to offering our clients quality entertainment at affordable prices. Caring for our animals is an ongoing passion and commitment. We enjoy sharing our animals with people of all ages, but especially children who may have only seen these types of animals in books.
