Modern Dance  is the technique  based on the natural movement of the body and is designed to increase body control and coordination. Routines are set to modern and contemporary music. Students begin class with a centre floor warm-up, followed by across floor combinations such as leaps and turns. Class is ended with a fun routine taught using familiar chart music.

Dance Place-Welland & Fonthill has three spacious studios at 397 Thorold Road, as well as three spacious studios at our brand-new location at 27 Thorold Road. Serving the Welland and Niagara area since 1979, our studios are equipped with sprung floors, mirrors and barres.
