Our centre offers over 40 low-cost or free educational, recreational, social, and health-related wellness programs and services, as well as over 50 special events and outings each year. Over 400 members participate in activities every month and half use the centre at least once a week. We are supported by a large volunteer team with over 200 casual volunteers and over 100 regular volunteers.

In 2001 first office was opened in Burnaby BC. Providing long hours of operation to accommodate walk-in and emergency patients at the same day to relief their pain. Captain's Cove Marina was established in 1978 in the community of Ladner, in the city of Delta. It is a private corporation that provides variety of services. The corporation was formed when Captain's Cove Marina Development Group acquired a 217 acre property alongside the Fraser River.

During a six month federal energy conservation project, City Farmer was created. Read about the group's formative months in a report written by the project's leader. 'The first issue of City Farmer came out at the end of July (1978) and the second at the end of August. Both received a very positive response. The paper attempts to interest the public by showing them examples of successful Vancouver city farmers. It also reports on political issues that affect the city farmers (there has been a great deal of controversy lately about a particular woman in Vancouver who raises chickens in defiance of city by-laws), and products and information that are of use to them.
