Nestled in Scarborough’s Highland Creek neighbourhood, In the Spirit Yoga Studio, Wine Lounge & Boutique has been offering yoga classes since 2010, 7 days a week. Our wine lounge is open Thursdays from 6-9 PM serving red and white wines. Our boutique opened in 2014 offering yoga props, active wear, leisure wear, accessories for women. In the Spirit is the brainchild of Debi Niven, a local business owner. The studio offers Hatha, Restorative and Yin yoga classes both LIVE and ONLINE - tailored to the physical needs and fitness levels of its students. Live classes are small and they are mirror-free to encourage an intimate, non-judgmental atmosphere. Series classes are also offered throughout the year such as Beginner, Strength and Balance & Core Chair Yoga. Special workshops include Hot Stone Restorative Yoga, Release, Relax and Refresh and a monthly 90-minute Restorative class. Our monthly Feel Good Friday's is a karma class raising money for local charities in Scarborough.
