It's also just as important that it be made by a small producer doing small-batch and handmade goods. That usually goes hand in hand with my third criteria, that you can't find the products in too many places. I've got a few products that aren't sold anywhere in Toronto, and a few not even in Ontario. The ingredients are another factor, and I've been trying to find as many all natural or organic products as possible. The last thing is appearance. After all, it is a gift, and I think it matters. These small producers often have the most charming of package designs. My aim is to have products that fit into as many of these factors as possible
