We love babies! Such amazing little beings. We love the way they stare so calmly and intently in to your eyes. We love they way they move and explore their tiny little fingers. We love the way they create so much love in the lives of their families. Bloom supports women and their families from the preconception period, through pregnancy, birth and the weeks after birth. We believe this continuity helps women to grow, birth and nurture healthy babies.

The Gathering Place Community Centre offers programs and services to the Downtown South community. We primarily serve vulnerable populations, including people on lower income, people with disabilities, seniors, people of diverse ethnic backgrounds, the LGBTQ community, youth, and people who are homeless.

The time comes when you realize that the home you and your family grew up in has pretty well outgrown your lifestyle. The extra rooms sit empty more often than not, it takes more time to clean than seems worthwhile, and the yard that used to provide so much pleasure now looks like a weekend project - for a very long weekend.
