RAMAC Swimming Club was founded in November 1998 and began two times a week practices at Westview Secondary School on February 1, 1999. Originally we rented swimming pool with Parks and Recreation. The rental of the pool started with two times a week and expanded to six days a week growing from no swimmers to a hundred in 5 years.Overall RAMAC development looked like a success and swimmers whose presence, at growing number of meets we attended, was more and more noticeable with medals and ribbons they have won. Some of our swimmers qualified for provincial and national championship and Mark Kourganov's swimmer Alex Kofman became two times National Age Group Champion in summer 2003.
