This is a hidden gem over near the airport on Matheson. A friend of mine works in the area and he suggested it for a Saturday night dinner. We had a great time as the food was hot, fresh, and tasted great, plus the service was very professional. I like places where they have a pride of ownership and this is one where the owners are active in the business, the chef came from the kitchen to check on our meal, and they genuinely appreciated our business. The experience at la Scala is quaint, quiet, and magical. The food is simply authentic Italian, done right,and has easily become one of my favorites in the area for a fancy dinner date :) I've been 5 times over the past year and have been blown away each time with their carefully curated locally sourced selections, and charming ambiance.
They have an intimate party room for larger functions and the service is impeccable. Extra bonus!! There is free parking in the back! Will definitely be back.

Being from the Chicago area, my husband and I are used to good pizza. When we moved here, we were both very disappointed in any pizza we had...until we ate Venezia's! This is authentic, great tasting, made to order pizza which will keep you coming back! Granted, it is mostly for take-out though they do deliver and have a few tables inside to eat on (outdoors, weather depending). It's casual and great for when you don't have time to make dinner or you're simply craving pizza. Their panzarotti's are also wonderful! The lady who owns it must be from Italy and she is quite sweet and lovely. The other people who work there (all related I think) are also very friendly.

Charming atmosphere, beautiful chandeliers and old stone walls covered with vintage black and white photos. The food was excellent, and our server was absolutely lovely. A bit pricey, but really a wonderful experience overall. One thing to note is the two-hour limit on dining, which is best to know about in advance. If you have a group that wants to reunite, two hours is kind of short, but that's the policy.

I am from the Toronto area, but have family in the Lancaster area! Every time I am here I just have to stop. I love the sandwiches, the pizza, and the greek food is to die for! Rice pudding for dessert is the best homemade ride pudding ever. The cook really does a great job! Huge portions too! Waitresses know how to treat customers and great atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone!!
