The Turkish Community Heritage Centre of Canada (TCHCC) was established as a charitable organization in Ontario on May 23, 2007 to provide and maintain a community centre for the Canadian Turkish community.As of June 1, 2008, TCHCC became a federally registered tax-exempt charity approved by the Canada Revenue Agency, under paragraph 149(1)(f) of the Income Tax Act.TTCHCC's Business Number is 83429 8010 RR0001.We work closely with the Turkish community hosting seminars and cultural, educational and consulting events.Our main goal is to establish and operate a community centre where the TCHCC can permanently host events and offer its services.We embrace structured governance with integrity, and accountability to our giving community.
Our accredited home serves 225 multicultural residents and prides itself on providing excellent care and specialty programs such as convalescent, Java Music Club and Montessori. Our convalescent care program has 24 residents and its multi-disciplinary team specializes in restorative care with a separate dedicated physiotherapy team. A variety of recreation programs keep our residents independent, active and entertained. Residents can enjoy music therapy, monthly outings and weekly Italian cooking.

Lynne has developed training for Military, Justice workers, Health care workers to help them understand and respond to male victims of sexual abuse. In 2012, she was awarded the Queen Elizabeth II for her work in this field. Recognizing that Child sexual abuse is not going away, she began a ground breaking effort to help stop Childhood Sexual Abuse. Lynne has designed and facilitated groups for men who have been sexually abused and who have sexually violated children using the Prevent Project Dunkefeld from Germany.
