I brought 3 different shoes in for repair on a Sunday. (yes, they are open on Sunday!) One was a sandal with broken strap, another was a leather bootie with a scrape in the toe and the third was a brand new leather bootie (never worn) that showed some flaking of the color on side. I was told he was very busy so it may be more than a week. I got a call in 3 days and I was very impressed with the work! He also repaired a tear in the bootie I forgot about and all 3 repairs cost only $21!

My highlight is definitely the hospitality of the volunteers. My family and I enjoyed the cultural dances from Kayumanggi Philippines Performing Arts.South SudanBeing a newly established country, this was my first time attending this pavilion. If I could summarize my experience in one word, it would be 'passion.' The emcee, in particular, was knowledgeable and proud of his country's history and the performances they were presenting.
