Note on the title. I thought it was just called "Bistro" for a long time. That's the only sign you notice... so look for it!
We went to The Ivy Deck for the first time and liked it so much (especially the sweet potato fries!) that we went back there more often than we usually go to any restaurants to begin with.
Great food at a fair price, but the sweet potato fries are more than that. The fries are huge and have perfect seasoning, and the serving is fairly generous.
"Bistro"...sweet fries...go!

I am Ross Patterson, and I am the 'The Noodle Guy.' I have been in the food and hospitality industry for most of my adult life, working in kitchens and dining rooms in Ontario and Nova Scotia and teaching food and beverage courses to audiences of all levels. I am passionate about making good food and about making people happy with food. I've been making pasta for family and friends for fun for years, and decided to 'turn pro' in the spring of 2010 with a stand at the Wolfville Farmers' Market. The shop in Port Williams opened in the spring of 2011. The response and support from our customers has been overwhelming! Hardly a day goes by without a customer telling us that it's the best pasta they've ever had.
