Our centre offers over 40 low-cost or free educational, recreational, social, and health-related wellness programs and services, as well as over 50 special events and outings each year. Over 400 members participate in activities every month and half use the centre at least once a week. We are supported by a large volunteer team with over 200 casual volunteers and over 100 regular volunteers.

The Dirty Apron Cooking School is Vancouver's favourite culinary playground, a place for amateur cooks, the curious and professionals alike to learn, explore, and unleash their inner chef. Born out of a passion for great food the school is owned by former Chambar Sous-Chef David Robertson and his wife Sara. David has a formidable background in classic French cuisines and teaches the majority of the classes, with guest and celebrity chef appearances peppered throughout the year.

Over its 40 years of existence, the Coquitlam Public Library has built a strong reputation for commitment to the community. We started as a small library located in Centennial High School in 1967. We moved into two small branches in 1978, called Ridgeway and Cottonwood. We added a third branch in 1981, called Lincoln.
