We offer free literacy programs for English-speaking adults who want to learn to read and write, use basic math and/or computer skills, in order to gain more confidence and become more active in their communities. We offer Literacy and Basic Skills Education and Academic Upgrading for youth and adults who want to transition to post-secondary studies, employment or training programs. By expanding their creative abilities through our one-on-one instructed Bootcamps we ensure that each student learns new techniques to become an artistic, expressive and confident makeup artist in their chosen field. Paramita gives students the skills to not only work as Makeup Artists, but to empower other women by bringing out their natural beauty and confidence. Students will also learn about marketing, networking, job opportunities, business cards and setting goals. Once in the workforce they will have the know-how to promote themselves competitively.
