The first Lady Marmalade opened its doors in Victoria in 2005. Originally from Toronto, Carla Cherry & her brother, David Cherry, opened up the little brunch joint & worked hard to make it a Victoria staple. Lady Marmalade quickly became famous for their delicious eggs benny and tasty Mexican dishes.In 2008, David moved back to Toronto with his wife Natalia Simachkevitch, while Carla stayed at the helm of Lady Marmalade in Victoria. David & Natalia scoured the city for the perfect location & a second Lady Marmalade opened in July 2009 in lovely Leslieville. David cooked, Natalia served.

We carry a good range of bikes (including Brodie, Garneau and Breezer) and accessories (including Shimano components, Brooks accessories, Bern helmets, Abus and Kryptonite locks) for the walk-in customer but our approach to service is what makes us stand-out. Rather than hiding our service department out of sight, our bike mechanics work on the floor right in the middle of the shop. This makes it easy for us to talk with you about your ride, what's going wrong, what could be even better, and how you can maintain your bike to minimize unwelcome return visits to ours or any other bike shop.
