PK Welding and Fabricators was founded in 1960, by Arnold H. Paashuis, in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. Initially, the company served as a custom metal fabricating shop. Its first exposure to the truck upfitting business, was the manufacture of mobile catering bodies with stainless steel interiors. During this time PK was able to establish a long-lasting relationship with the truck dealers.As PK's reputation for innovation and quality grew, dealers began approaching the company with new concepts.
