This place has some nice food, lots of food served. The chicken, noodles, spring rolls were fantastic. The price of the food however comes at a high price and it's better to eat at a buffet for the price point for dinner.

Right on Dundas and Elizabeth, this little gem is sort of hidden downstairs. My Chinese friends refer to it as 'the basement' rather than its name. The bigger the group, the cheaper the meal. Dim Sum is good and very inexpensive ($2.20 - $3.70 per item). If you are going for lunch during the week, get there EARLY as it fills up very quickly. Once you have had lunch there, you will understand why. The Dim Sum is served from carts, so there are times when some of it may not be as hot as it should be, but I have never found that to be a problem since the food is very good. The decor is very basic with plastic table clothes, but the restaurant is quite clean, so that is not a problem. I go there regularly and recommend it.

Have been eating Far East Chinese Food for over 40 years. Best food, best prices. Rarely, they do make a mistake but not often. The menu, hours of operation, website and prices shown on the Yahoo website are for the Far East in Niagra Falls (not related to the Far East in Etobicoke).
