Crystal has taken such amazing photos of my family and I, particularly capturing the beauty and love during my transformation into moherhood. She captured my pregnancy in a way that made me feel so proud and honouring of my body. Plis she put on and photographed a Blessingway ceremony with me and all the important women in my life. She photographed my labour while also immensely supporting me through the 24 hour long process. During that time, she captured some of the most beautiful imaged I've ever seen, including the moment my son first arrived in my arms...the most amazing moment of my life!!!! Since then Crystal has captured many more photos of my son and I. Not to mention the countless unique and gorgeous photos of I've seen of others. The catering company evolved into The Cheese Shop @ The Menu Setters, and eventually into les amis du FROMAGE as we know and love today.
On Saturday June 21st, we held a private concert in the shop at Le Marché. Flights of Fancy, a night of 17th century Italian music, featured performances by Paul Luchkow (violin) and Michael Jarvis (harpsichord) . When I arrived, I walked into Marché in a state of dishevelled beauty. The cafe was still taking orders as Janaki, Pascal and crew made preparations for another one of our lovely collaborations.
