Hello
My name is Julie Kang
I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (18450) and owner of Qavah Therapy. I completed my Master of Arts (MA) in Family Life Education from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California.
Since 2005 I have had the privilege of doing pastoral counselling for youth and college students and more recently clinical counselling with individuals of different backgrounds and ages. I worked with high risk youth for 7 years.
Therapy should be a safe place to heal and grow. My therapeutic style is holistic and trauma informed rooted in compassion, authenticity and neuroscience.
I am currently available in person or on-line.
The Carberry area is located in the Prehistoric Upper Assiniboine Delta. This delta is composed of outwash deposits from the glacial spillway which drained meltwater from the receding Laurentian Ice Sheet by way of the Qu'Appelle Channel.
Founded in 1967, the Western Manitoba Regional Library System provides public library service to the communities of the City of Brandon, the Towns of Carberry and Neepawa, the Village of Glenboro, and the Rural Municipalities of North Cypress, South Cypress and Langford, the town of Hartney and the Rural Municipality of Cameron. The Library is financially supported by a library tax levied by each of these communities and by operating grants from the provincial government of Manitoba. The day-to-day policies and operations of its four branch libraries are governed by a volunteer Board of Trustees composed of representatives from each area.
Art Gallery of Southwestern Manitoba in Brandon collects and exhibits visual artworks created in and inspired by the region. However, the art exhibitions aren't the sole reason to visit the Gallery, since both adults and children can participate in art classes and workshops held there. Visit our website to learn more about the membership programs and get involved in the rich cultural life of Southwestern Manitoba.
