Our absolute favourite for authentic italian. You know the restaurant is a gem when the local Italians eat there with their whole families (babies too!). As Marcello's is always packed, go early to get a seat (especially if your party is larger than 4) or expect to wait in line at least 30 minutes or longer. Service is prompt when seated and the lively atmosphere makes it very homey. The waiters are efficient, no-nonsense and definitely not snobby(as in other places), and they know the menus. On regular nights we share an appetizer, and dessert with our meals and we are stuffed!! The tirimisu is home made and heavenly; you could easily have seconds. I have been to other restaurants on College street, and quite honestly, at Marcello's the dishes are on par and above on quality. Combine the quality of food, with good portion sizes, very reasonable pricing, and you will see why Marcello's is always packed!!

Wow! what a great spot on King Street. Owner Tony Loschiavo has done it again. Newly opened Paese on King Street delivers. With a beautiful upscale atmosphere, fun and not pretentious, he is going to give the others on this King St West strip a run!
Excellent food, great friendly genuine service.
Can't wait to return for their bar menu that promises to have bar snacks with a twist. Big portions, affordable prices.

The Chef's Table is not to be missed at this charming Parkdale wine bar and tapas-style eatery. Diners get a chance to mingle with the cooking team, and watch their dinner get made. The atmosphere, courtesy of the room's collection of simple, candlelit tables, is as romantic as it is rustic, with sweet features like a ceiling-level clothesline hung with Parkdale-themed T-shirts.
