I had been to JJ Japanese Thai beforehand and was never disappointed. This was my third visit and I was more than pleased. The restaurant was nicely decorated with beautiful table linens, wall decorations, and pillows. The servers were kind and attentive. Our server, whose name was Alina, was so kind and friendly, she asked us if there was anything we needed on a consistent basis and also provided free ice cream for being such great customers! I was pleasantly impressed. The food was amazing, the pad thai was filling and excellent, along with the maki. I would come back here in a heartbeat, no doubt about it!

My boyfriend and I usually visit when we can't decide on anything particular to eat. This place is your average typical Mandarin - nothing spectacular, good food and service (although it can get annoying when you hear a chorus of "Welcome to the Mandarin" 50,000 times during dinner).

Great place for a quick grab-and-go. Located in the heart of downtown, for the price you pay, the food is adequate and it offers a great variety of Vietnamese food. When you order the food, it gets served in literally 3 minutes. It's that fast. The portion is also enough to fill your hunger for a few hours. Definitely recommend for those who are looking for a quick lunch or dinner.

I'm no connoisseur of sushi or Japanese food, but I have had it a few times elsewhere in Toronto, this is certainly the best experience each time I go. The restaurant itself is clean and nice, the food is good and the service is quick. (Not always friendly, but quick) I usually order pretty generic stuff- california roll, bento box, veg. tempura, etc. Cant beat this place, IMO.
