IN 1972 SUKI TAKAGI MOVED TO VANCOUVER, purchased a small salon at the site of our current South Granville location and changed the future of Canadian hairdressing. Japanese by birth, Suki began her career in Beverly Hills, studied the craft in Europe, and in 1972 opened her first salon in Vancouver with no clients but a clear vision of what hairdressing could be.
