The Stockmen's Memorial Foundation was officially organized in 1980 by fifty founding members comprising of ranchers, farmers and individuals who wanted to commemorate the Canadian livestock industry.The organization was incorporated as a non-profit association and was established as a foundation by an act of the Alberta legislature. It is also approved as a charitable organization by Revenue Canada.

Opened in the fall of 2000, the Tooth of the Dogpound Creek Golf Course offers a challenging round of golf located in the scenic valley of Dogpound Creek. In designing The Tooth Dan Odell used the natural features of the Dogpound Creek valley as his guidelines. The end result, a challenging course with elevated tee and greens, natural water hazards and a harmonious feel. The Tooth is a course where divots are not only caused by golfers but also the occasional deer, duck, moose and goose. Located close to Calgary, with a quiet country feel and affordable green fees. Nestled in the valley of the scenic Dogpound Creek, we offer a licensed clubhouse, driving range, practice green and 18 holes of pure golf enjoyment. Featuring 18 Holes / Par 72, licensed clubhouse, practice green & driving range, power carts, and tournament packages.
