I moved to the Comox Valley in 2007 and been active full time as a piano technician since then. I am also a music performer, as a Jazz pianist, so I consider myself being a perfectionist when it comes to a fine tuned piano. I also give private piano lesson on improvisation in all style for intermediate and up. In other words, it would be preferable if you already know the basics on chords and scales. My approach is very different, not classical, since I studied in Jazz in 2 different universities: Laval, QC and Malaspina, BC. If you want to learn deeper the relationship between scales and chords, by taking lesson from me you will then be able to improvise and progress more on the piano in whatever style you prefer.
