Loom is a weaving and textile studio located in scenic Alton Village . At Loom, you can immerse yourself in the world of handmade textile arts. We help you start your journey by learning from dedicated and passionate teachers. Through classes designed for all levels of learning and a personalized learning experience, you will fall in love with weaving. You can also find quality weaving equipment, tools and curated fibres for all your weaving needs.

For years I’ve been offering private lessons for children, seniors, and all ages in between, having started in 1997 at the request of neighbours and friends. The Royal Conservatory of Music has since certified me as a elementary piano specialist and an intermediate clarinet specialist. With experience gained from my own vocal studies, I also help students improve their vocal skills. Assisting students in preparing for RCM theory examinations is another service I offer. I take a patient approach to musical instruction, letting you set the pace at which you want to learn, using a variety of musical styles (classical and contemporary). When time allows I also like to introduce students to a wide variety of other instruments in my collection, for exploration or study.
