She received a MET degree (Masters in Educational Technology) from UBC in 2005 and was named an Apple Distinguished Educator for Canada (ADE) in 2008. Our maker-space combines resources and experiences to allow students innovative learning opportunities that develop academic skills through exploration and creation. If you’re after something unique, we can create one of a kind custom shades with a short turn around time and minimal extra cost. All of our lampshades are hand made with care in Victoria. We create our hardback shades with fabrics or papers laminated to polystyrene backing. Softback shades are hand sewn, which enables the shade to be relined and/or hand washed. We’ve been trusted lampshade experts for over 45 years.
