When my mom broke her hip after a fall, she was discharged from the hospital with no PSW support. Since she also has Alzheimer’s and dementia, we were scared and overwhelmed.
We first tried a retirement home, but the care is awful and expensive. A doctor from Markham Stouffville Hospital recommended Nurse Next Door, and their home care team was very good.
Their caregivers and PSWs provided compassionate 1on1 home care with mom. Very happy with services and highly recommend

Anthony served us and not only took us to the aisles where the products we were looking for were located, but, when one item not in stock, checked to see when the item would be in as well as other stores close by that did have the item in stock. Dr. Helena Jaczek was first elected as the Member of Provincial Parliament (MPP) for the riding of Oak Ridges - Markham in October 2007 and was re-elected in October 2011 and June 2014.Helena currently serves as the Minister of Community and Social Services. She has previously served as the Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Health and Long-Term Care and the Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of the Environment and to the Minister of Health Promotion.Helena has served as Caucus Chair and was a sitting member of the Standing Committee on Public Accounts and the Standing Committee on Social Policy.
