First of all I would like to say that I have been going to Tweed for years (15+) even before the switch over to the new vet. (Dr.Patel who has been there for 6+ years) (WHO I LIKE!) I have always found that their prices are fair and that they treat all the animals with kindness. (Which is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT TO ME)Dr. Patel was very nice and explained treatments to me and if I had any questions he always takes time to explain things again.THE STAFF ARE AMAZING AND SO HELPFUL! We (myself and my daughters) stopped by on route from the Ottawa to home (Hamilton) on Sunday August 8th to order take out. Our family has stopped at the Gateway Restaurant for decades to enjoy their always delicious family style meals. We ordered club sandwich platters and a BLT platter- sooooo delicious as always. The staff provided the utmost attention to care with preparing our takeout food under the covid precautions. Until our next trip and thank you.

Recently we had say goodbye to our elderly dog. It was a heart crushing process. The team at HVH, accommodated our needs which is difficult due to covid restrictions. Afterwards Andrea called us to make sure our family were ok. They sent us a card with our dogs paw prints. We’ve been using Hastings Vet for 8 years. The team have always gone above and beyond. I can’t thank them enough for taking care of our family.

I bought a new motorcycle in Tweed on a Friday night and pushed it to Hastings County Auto Body on Saturday. They weren't open at the time, but Steve (the owner) was there working on something and without hesitation took my bike in his garage and got it in good working order for me.
