The section now housing our store was where staples such as 100 pound bags of flour and sugar, barrels of molasses, coal oil and many other items needed by people in a small, then isolated, northern community were stored. In 1948 'the storeroom' became the Post Office and over the years has been the location for many businesses including a fried chicken take-out, home-made fudge shop and reputable jewellery store.The exterior will catch your eye with our massive hanging flower baskets and trailing window boxes that attract both hummingbirds and butterflies

We are located on 6 Webster Street, right in the heart of the village. Our mission is to provide a fun safe environment that our children and youth will enjoy for years to come, keeping them safe from unhealthy alternatives (i.e. mischief, under-age drinking and alcohol abuse, and drug abuse). Our future vision is to build a family recreation facility for our community that will include a four lane bowling alley and a rec facility for our children and youth.
