This summer we are resurfacing the airport runways and aprons. Most of the work will be done at night when the runway will be closed. However at some times runway length will be limited to 4000 ft. Also a proposed PNG shipping terminal by 2020. More and more products are coming and going through the container port each year. Prince Rupert has a civic centre full of hobby rooms, a couple of gyms and ice rink.There is an in door swimming pool, curling rink and Performing Arts centre.
