This was the best restaurant we have ever been to. The view of the entire city at night was spectacular and everything we ate including the bread (we bought a loaf from them it was so delicious) and the deserts homemade from scratch were mouth watering delicacies...the service was spectacular...the servers were wiping our table for crumbs in between each course. They had 3 different servers assisting us and they were all so helpful and polite. We had other plans that we cancelled for after our meal because it was so great that we ended up spending the entire night there and we can't wait to go back!!!

On a minus ten degree day, I braved the wind and found Bar Buca for their Winterlicious lunch menu. Ordered the zucchini appetizer with the Italian wedding soup as the main, a biscotti and something like a crisp cookie wafer for desserts. Warmed me up that day

I would like to thank all the fine staff at Santo's for a very successful and fun evening yesterday. Our particular thanks to Mario and Maria for the culinary skills. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food. I have had comments such as "that is the best Chicken Marsala I have ever tasted", "the food was excellent and so fresh", "the decor was lovely", "fantastic desserts, especially the tiramisu". It's a family run restauant and the owner Roberto used to live in Naples, Italy. It is one of the best italian restaurants that you can find in Toronto.
There are some restaurants in Italy that aren't as good as Roberto's is.
It isn't extremely elegant but it has a good menu for a modest price. When I want to eat authentic Italian cuisine, and not spend a fortune, I go to Roberto's.
