Affordable, reliable Chinese comfort food is always on offer at this Kensington Market standard, where the décor is unadorned, the service is prompt and the food is universally hot and delicious. There's lots to pick from here - the menu is loaded with choice - but reviewers emphasize the crispy pork loins, beef with ginger and what is arguably the best General Tao chicken in the city. Mercifully, the restaurant is open until 4 in the morning, so the opportunity to close a night on the town with a plate of Peking duck - and in the company, famously, of a host of Toronto chefs grabbing a bite of their own on the way home from work.
