The King's School has been operating since 1982 on its campus located on 23 wooded acres in rural Langley. It currently has about 130 students from kindergarten to Grade 12. While the school was originally founded as a church school and continues to be supported by The King's Community Church, over 60% of the students now come from various churches in the area. We offer a Christian education which satisfies and goes beyond the requirements of the B.C. Ministry of Education guidelines. We endeavour to teach every subject from a Biblical perspective. Upon High School Graduation, students are eligible to apply for admission to post-secondary institutions. The staff tries to ensure that the students receive character as well as academic training. The school has clear rules and discipline (including a uniform policy), as well as positive encouragement and rewards. The Learning Corner Daycare is a fully licensed childcare facility. We are located in west Maple Ridge, next to Westview Park. We offer all the amenities of a large scale center in a small group environment. Our bright, cheerful, child centered environment offer children a safe and fun place to grow and learn. The classroom is divided into various "learning centers" to provide the maximum educational experience. The program is designed to meet the developmental needs of all children who attend. We offer a wide curriculum of activities from phonics, math and science, to art, music and movement and computer activities. Specially made educational games for phonics, math and science enhance the program to engage the child's interest and build a love of learning.

We are a congregation in Langley, British Columbia, Canada, with a vision to serve Jesus Christ whom we worship as Lord and Saviour. Our desire is to see His government acknowledged in every area of life and throughout the world over which He rules as King of Kings. Some events need to be planned well ahead and others take place almost spontaneously. Weekly: Sundays mornings we meet for Worship and Bible Teaching at 10.00am. All are welcome. Following a time of family worship, facilities are provided for the care of children in Sunday School classes offering teaching up to Grade 3. A nursery is also provided. We finish with coffee between 11.30am and noon. Midweek the church meets in small House Fellowships throughout the area. These small groups help us to praise, pray, study, discuss and fellowship more informally. They provide a relational foundation for church life. There are also several other activities that take place regularly if not weekly; Prayer meetings for fathers and for the church, hockey, youth groups... to name a few.
